The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is joined by celebrated conductor Thomas Hengelbrock and – for the first time – by star soprano Diana Damrau. Together they perform well-loved arias and orchestral works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including "Dove sono i bei momenti” from The Marriage of Figaro and the overture to Don Giovanni. The program is rounded off by Antonín Dvořák’s ever-enjoyable Symphony No. 8 in G major, Op. 88, an exuberant ode to the great outdoors.
