Set to Prokofiev's timeless score, Kenneth Macmillan's classic choreography of Romeo and Juliet is legendary in La Scala's repertoire. The stars of this masterly performance are Roberto Bolle (Principal Dancer Etolie at Teatro alla Scala) and Misty Copeland (Principal Dancer at ABT in New York), together for the first time in this ballet, with the Ballet Company and Orchestra of Teatro all Scala. The sets and costumes designed specifically for La Scala are by Mauro Carosi and Odette Nicoletti. Recorded live at Teatro alla Scala, Milan in 2017.
